6:30-7:30–Down Stairs

RAs and GAs are mission based organizations where boys and girls can come and learn about missions around the world. They hear about specific missionaries and the work that they do, as well as pray for them and learn to tell other people about Jesus.

GAs, or Girls in Action, and RAs, or Royal Ambassadors is for 1st-5th grade students. These young people are able to pray for missionaries overseas as they learn about them through fun lessons.

RAs and GAs run from September through the end of April.

6:30-7:30–Up Stairs

Preschool is an exciting time in children’s lives, where they rapidly grow to understand the world around them. It’s during this time that they develop a spiritual understanding about Who God is and how they play a part in His plan for the world. That’s why we created Mission Friends — to provide the building blocks of faith to preschoolers and raise a basic awareness of God’s love for all people. A missions heart will become entwined in their hearts as they grow to know God and the missions message of the Bible.

6:30-7:30 PM–Choir Room

The Eastside Bell Choir plays the 5 octave set of handbells for worship services and other special occasions. This group regularly participates in the State Bell Choir Festival sponsored each year by the Baptist State Convention. Please contact Maggie Andre’ for more information.

7:30-8:30–Sanctuary

The Sanctuary Choir is open to all young people and adults who wish to use their voices in leading our congregation in worship each week. The choir provides special music for the major seasons of the church year and for other special events. Each November, the choir has a weekend choir retreat where we have a wonderful time of fellowship and rehearsal on the current year’s Christmas music program. Please contact Maggie Andre’ for more information.
